Almost time!

Welcome, and well done for finding this blog!

That's right, it's less than a week until we get shipped off to the far east to get involved with the work of a church out in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. We fly out on Monday evening from Heathrow and get in to KL sometime in the afternoon on Tuesday.

We had a meeting over eggs and bacon at the Brown's house on Monday morning to discuss the practical details of all the stuff we need to get sorted before we go. There's much packing to be done, currency to be exchanged, and bits and bobs to be bought; high concentration Deet mosquito repellent topping the list.

Rob and Wiggy are busy preparing for talks they'll be doing in the first week or so that we're out there. They're both pretty excited about the prospect of preaching in a different country, and the rest of us can't wait to get out there and start serving the church. And by the looks of our timetable, the guys there are keen to use us as much as possible.

Thanks for reading our first message. Look out for our next update sometime next week; I might try to do some sort of church/area profile to show you what it's like. And I'll be attempting to keep some sort of photographic log throughout the trip.

Anyway here's a team photo with what look like some highly forced smiles...we were happy honest!

Much love,
